Our goal is to identify individuals in need and assist them with the necessary services required to promote their personal wellbeing. We provide support to the individuals and the support systems to achieve this goal.
We have a comprehensive outlook to managing treatment through all necessary phases to help ensure a healthy return to society. We support facilities that provide the full range of services from; Detox Centers, Residential Treatment Centers, Sober-Living Facilities, Out-Patient Care, applicable Insurance Applicants, Job Training and Job Placement.

Case Management
No one wants to be treated like a number. Our team of established professionals manages your case with compassion, professionalism, and absolute confidentiality.
Every step of the way, we guide you through the process, answering every question, covering every detail, and offering the utmost amount of care. When life seems uncertain, there is nothing more assuring than having a seasoned professional on the other end of the phone, across the table, or at your side.
From inpatient to intensive outpatient to aftercare, we case-manage you through the entire process, ensuring that you have the support you need to get healthy and, ultimately, return to work. It’s not just what we do; it’s who we are.
Placement
Identifying the right facility to seek help can be overwhelming, yet it makes all the difference.
Do they accept my insurance? Do they offer the services I require? Is there a residential component? All of these questions and more can discourage individuals from reaching out.
We utilize a network of licensed treatment centers, including detox, residential, and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs). Each center has its own benefits and features. Our team will assess your case and make a placement recommendation based upon your individual needs.
Placement is an important step in the job protection process. Once a member is placed into a facility, we can then send a “placement in treatment” letter to the employer as part of our job protection service. This brings members one step closer to returning to work and their families.
Advocacy
Advocacy is tied to everything we do.
One in five U.S. adults experiences mental illness, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Further, one in 25 experience serious mental illness. The numbers don’t lie — there’s a significant portion of the population that has mental health needs.
When it comes to your job, there is no greater need than to have an advocate at your side. PTSD, Substance Abuse, Alcoholism, Bipolar Disorder, all of these falls under behavioral health — and they’re all covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Training
Education is a fundamental component of our training modules. It may sound cliché – but it matters.
The Union First training modules provide union leaders and their membership with the tools they need to manage a crisis, handle stress, and provide a robust employee assistance service.
Our team comes on-site to conduct the training. “Informative,” “compelling,” and “eye-opening” are just some of the words that have been used to describe our program. The training is informative, compelling and helps to facilitate a conversation. A slideshow presentation, resource materials, and Q&A are included in the module. Each training raises awareness about behavioral health, especially when it comes to identifying the signs and symptoms. Much like education, increasing awareness is critical to our program’s overall success.
